Multi-panel flyer in original green and black printing explains the early cultured pearl process with photos of pearl divers, oyster surgery, nucleus insertion, and beautiful pearl necklaces. Includes the famous "The More You Wear Your Pearl the More Lustrous They Become" care section and lifetime guarantee. Dated 1939 with certificate expiration December 20 1939. Pre-WWII Japanese Akoya pearl advertising at its finest. Excellent condition for age with typical folds and light wear, complete and intact. Highly collectible piece of World's Fair ephemera, vintage jewelry history, and pre-war Japanese-American trade. Scarce survivor from the Imperial Pearl exhibit.
