| The Larson Electronics EXP-MTR-3P-460-300HP-3.6K-315L Explosion Proof Motor is recommended for use in Class I, Division 2 and Class II, Division 2 rated combustible work sites. The 300 HP unit is compatible with three-phase 380-415/460V AC, 60 Hz and offers 315 FL amps. This motor features a 315L motor frame and can be installed with industrial systems via an integrated mounting foot. The EXP-MTR-3P-460-300HP-3.6K-315L is a fractional motor for combustible work sites. This thermally protected unit operates with three-phase 380-415/460V AC, 60 Hz. The 300 HP motor offers 315 full-load amps and direct-on-line starting method. Capable of generating 3600 RPM, this motor is totally enclosed and fan-cooled (TEFC). The explosion proof motor operates with 96.2% efficiency during use. Constructed of cast iron, carbon steel and aluminum, the unit contains a stainless steel nameplate (laser etched with high contrast background). The motor features a T3/T3C temperature rating. Equipped with a lip seal on both endshields, this unit is protected by a 315L motor frame and features Class F insulation, with 1.25 (60 Hz) service factor. The impregnated resin and magnet wire are Class H insulated. This model is suitable for use with VFDs and applications requiring Wye/Delta start. Wiring: The EXP-MTR-3P-460-300HP-3.6K-315L comes with 24" of +2/-0 leads for electrical connections and a gasketed conduit box. Mount: The EXP-MTR-3P-460-300HP-3.6K-315L is foot mounted (F2 standard, F1 convertible) for supporting the motor`s weight for sturdy, secure installations. Feet components are typically fixed on the surface, which reduces unnecessary movements during operation.
