Mod-Soul warriors New Street Adventure return What Kind Of World, their third album for Acid Jazz. A fantastic journey through the ever-expanded world of songwriter and frontman Nick Corbin, it charts a growing maturity, but no lack of bite, as he takes on the challenges and joys of everyday life. New Street Adventure made a name for themselves around 2010, with their smart take on soul music by a guitar band. Their songs had a gritty edge that took a wry and sometime angry look at life whilst also remembering the things that made it worthwhile. Songs such as "Big AC", "On Our Front Doorstep", and "What's So Good About Happiness?" became anthems at their sold-out shows. After a return to the live stage last year to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut album, the group went into the studio and delivered ten new songs, including singles "Get You Back" and "What Kind Of A Woman".
