Vintage HTF Royal Haeger Pottery planter, model 3789-7, produced in the USA during the mid-1960s–early 1970s at Haeger’s Dundee, Illinois factory. This piece features Haeger’s iconic stacked tier / stepped cylinder modernist form (commonly called “beehive”) finished in a rich mottled emerald-to-teal green drip glaze. Thick-walled ceramic construction gives it a substantial weight and quality. Bottom is impressed “Haeger 3789-7.” The “7” designates the size class used by Royal Haeger.
Perfect statement planter for MCM interiors, atomic ranch décor, modern bookshelf styling, entry console greenery, or sculptural display—even without a plant! Very good vintage condition with light surface wear on bottom base consistent with age and gentle use. No cracks, chips or repairs. Interior shows normal plant mineral patina typical for vintage planters.
Measures 7.25” tall, 7.75” diameter at widest, 5.5” diameter at bottom base and weighs almost 3 lbs at 2 lbs 13 oz.
