This is part of the earliest Vera scarves having a small signature, without a copyright logo. These were usually made from parachute silk, which was in abundance following WW2.
Vera Neumann was a pioneering artist who began her business after WWII, using excess parachute silk to create unique, signed, wearable art that became highly collectible.
Her pieces were made from various materials, including silk and polyester, with many quality vintage items being made in Japan.
This scarf is Preloved in great vintage condition. It shows a little distressing by one edge and has a small brownish stain pictured.
